Image to CAD — sketches, photos, markups

We convert hand sketches, site photographs, napkin concepts, and redline markups into accurate CAD. This is interpretation work, not tracing — our operators read the intent of the sketch, apply standard drafting conventions, and return a layered CAD drawing that you can build against.

01

When buyers need it

Architects and designers still sketch. Clients send photos of what they want. Field crews mark up as-builts with redlines that never make it back to the master set. These informal inputs get stuck at 'ideation' because nobody has time to redraft them. That's where we come in.

02

Sources we accept

  • Hand sketches on paper, tracing paper, or whiteboard photos
  • Site photographs with dimensions called out
  • Napkin concepts and schematic diagrams
  • Redline markups on printed sets
  • Photographs of existing buildings for facade reconstruction
  • Sketched plan revisions on plotted drawings
03

Our approach

We interpret. A sketch does not dimension itself — an operator reads the intent, applies drafting conventions (wall thicknesses, door swings, dimensioning standards), and produces a CAD drawing that reflects what the sketch was saying. Ambiguous items are flagged and surfaced back to you before finalising.

04

What you get back

  • Layered AutoCAD DWG or DXF
  • Standard drafting conventions applied
  • Editable text, associative dimensions, and blocks
  • An assumptions log noting any interpretation decisions
  • Plotted PDF for sign-off
